Since Milestones is a non-profit organization, we are always looking for help to keep our facilities updated to ensure proper safety for both our horses and their riders.

 

We greatly value our donors and would appreciate any help you can offer, be it financially, or through products and services.

Some of the maintenance and supplies currently needed include:

• Bottled water for volunteers

• Diesel/gas gift cards

• Cleaning supplies (specifically bleach, toilet bowl cleaner, long and short handle dusters, etc.)

• Paper towels

• Office supplies (stamps, copy paper, pens, staples, etc.)

• Paintbrushes and paint pans

• Painter sprayer

• Horse trailer (two-horse)

• 8x - 8 foot pressure treated landscape timbers 

• 6x- 6x12 foot pressure treated posts 

• A set of quick detach pallet forks

• Quick hitch attachment for bush hog 

• 6inch auger post hole drill 

• Gutters and roof for indoor arena $5,000

• Help with general repairs and maintenance of the property and caretaker house.

 

Needs specific to our horses:

• Mane and tale shampoo

• Generic Benadryl or Zyrtec tablets

• Manure buckets

• Permethrin 10 concentrate horse fly spray

• Pyranha shampoo  

• Swat cream

• Coat Defense powder

• No Thursh powder

• Veterinarian and Farrier Cost

• Horse care and supplies (hay, supplements, etc.)

• Southern States gift certificates to pay for grain

• Fly masks – cob or horse sizes

• Diaper rash ointment  - Kroger 4oz. best buy

• Unscented lotions

• 100% Cinnamon leaf essential oil

• Peppermint and tea tree oil

• Hydro Cortizone cream  - Sam’s or Costco

And we cannot forget our hardworking barn cats:

• Canned cat food Friskies or nine lives – Pâté preferred 

 

Other needs:

• Support for “riderships”– for participants receiving funding assistance with their lessons.
