Trish grew up in California, KY and owned horses all her life. She was an active member of the Campbell County 4-H horse program where she attended meetings, rode in horse shows and was a member of the drill team. Her additional horse experience includes twenty years of commercial carriage driving, working as an instructor at a local stable and serving as an adult volunteer with the local 4-H and extension programs. She is on the Board of Directors for the Northern Kentucky Horse Network, as well as an organizer/clinician for many of their educational programs. Her riding disciplines include basic Stock seat, Hunt seat, Saddle seat, Dressage and Driving and is always eager to learn more.

Her interest in therapeutic riding developed because she had two cousins with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. She remembered the happiness riding brought them and hoped that she could help bring that same feeling to others. Milestones was the answer and she has been involved with the program from the very first informational meeting in February of 1999. After volunteering for several months she began working toward her PATH International certification, which she received in 2001. In order to maintain her certification she takes riding lessons and attend at least twenty hours of educational workshops a year. Her life revolves around horses and horse back riding and she loves to educate others on all horse related topics.
